Southampton YMCA, as the Managing Agent of YMCA England’s Housing scheme, welcomes applications for supported housing from people from all backgrounds.

Local Profile

Southampton YMCA is a housing project for 40 young homeless people aged between 16 and 25. All tenants have their own flats. People are referred to us who are in housing need and require support with a range of issues and to prepare for living in the community.

Additional Opportunities Available at Southampton YMCA

Southampton YMCA operates a full support and resettlement service. In addition to the support we provide a Programme of Opportunities for tenants which includes life skills, assisting with access to education and training and social activities, in order to prepare the tenants for inter-dependent living in the community. We have an IT Suite offering free access to computers and the internet and recreational equipment.
