Thames Gateway YMCA, as the Managing Agent of YMCA England’s Housing scheme, welcomes applications for supported housing from people from all backgrounds.

YMCA Thames Gateway has 42 self-contained bed-sit flats with own kitchen and bathroom. These flats are partly-furnished. We offer accommodation to single young people aged between 16 and 30, although priority is given to those between 18 and 25yrs. Applicants must be capable of a basic degree of independent living; in immediate need of housing, and seeking employment, training, education and personal/social development. YMCA Thames Gateway also has 10 one bedroom move on flats, Church View, which residents can apply to once they have progressed, and they meet the criteria. Residents can live in a Church View flat for a maximum of five years.

Homelessness Services Available at Thames Gateway YMCA
Housing advice and information is held at reception and a weekly drop in is held by an outside agency offering homelessness advice and support to 16-19 year olds.
